Shamanic Healing

Soulful Shamanic Healing personalizes every session through compassionate listening and a light heart. Shamanic healing is for those seeking an alternative approach in healing, that works on a spiritual and energetic level, or when other methods have not provided relief. This type of spiritual healing is beneficial on its own, and it also compliments other healing modalities, such as counseling and other forms of therapy.

I received a power animal and soul part retrieval from Anna during a time I was working through a lot of grief and sadness. Even remotely, Anna made me feel very comfortable and supported. Her work helped me shift towards letting go, more self-love, and restoring parts of my personal power I had lost track of.

Anna used her teachings to alleviate stress arising from health problems. I entered a new healing chapter in my life with Anna’s remarkable skill and knowledge. I am very grateful her help.

Anna is wonderful to work with.  She is very skilled with her healing abilities.  Anna always shares intuitive information throughout the session that assists in my healing and spiritual development.  I am grateful for her!

About Shamanism

Shamanism is one of the oldest forms of spiritual practices in human civilization dating back to 30,000bc. The term shaman originates from the Siberian Manchus-Tungus word, “šamán“, which means “spiritual healer” or “one who sees in the dark”. Originating in Asia, shamanism has been found in aboriginal cultures throughout the world.

*Sandra Ingerman describes shamanism as “an ancient universal spiritual practice . . . a path of opening the heart, creating a doorway that leads us into hidden realms. In the hidden realms, the shaman interacts directly with helping compassionate spirits to divine information and to ask for healing help on behalf of a client or the community.”

Shamans are intermediaries between the seen and unseen worlds. They become, what is known as a “hollow bone”, to communicate with spirits, and escort souls to cross over. They connect with the spiritual realms by way of shamanic journeying, a technique that uses a consistent drumbeat or rattle, altering the state of consciousness, similar to being in a dream-like state.

Shamanic Healing Session

A shamanic healing session can either take place in person, or remotely by phone or video. It is important for the person seeking shamanic healing to be clear about the issue they want to address. Some examples that may be addressed in a session are: illness, health, accidents, depression, anxiety, relationships, life purpose, family issues, space clearings, and connecting to ancestors.

During the session, the client’s issue will be briefly discussed. The practitioner may ask some background information for clarity and context. Then the practitioner will journey on behalf of the client’s issue and intentions, using a rattle or drum, to connect with the spirit realm to diagnose the issue, perform any healings, and relay any spiritual messages to the client. Healings that shamanic practitioners perform include: restoring power, removing unwanted energy, and energy balancing. A session can last from 1 – 2 hours depending on the healing that is undertaken. Many clients report feeling relaxed, and improvements to their physical and emotional well-being after a shamanic healing session.

After the session, the client will integrate the healing over time. The process can take as long as several days to several months. It’s important to be patient and gentle after the healing session. Some may experience immediate positive changes, and others may encounter new issues that rise to the surface, that may need to be addressed in follow-up sessions. In either case, these are all signs that things have shifted and healing is taking place. Some ways to help the integration process are: spend time in nature, ground your feet in the earth, nourishment, salt baths, massage and body work. These integration techniques will be discussed in greater detail during your session.
